Our Story
Make a Child Smile is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) that works with government agencies to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-Integrate Victims of Human Trafficking within and outside Uganda. The organization supports Police and THE OFFICE OF Director Public Prosecutions (DPP) by building capacity of investigators and prosecutors to be professional during the course of giving justice to victims of Human Trafficking. The organization also works closely with different organizations to repatriate remains of victims who die outside the country as a result of Human Trafficking.
The organization sensitizes the public on prevention strategies to Human Trafficking, offers free Prophylaxis and emergency contraceptives to the general public and creates awareness to the public on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR)
