Construction of a Rehabilitation Center

So, our brand-new rehabilitation center is currently under construction and we are super excited about it. I mean, this place is going to be top-notch with state-of-the-art facilities and a team of experts ready to help those in need. From physical therapy to counseling services, we’re going to have it all under one roof.

We believe that creating a welcoming and comfortable environment is key to the healing process, so we’re putting a lot of thought into the design and layout of the center. Trust me, once this place is up and running, it’s going to be a game-changer for anyone looking to get back on their feet. Can’t wait for you to see it!

Sensitization

We also carry out sensitization programs to create awareness in the masses about these vices that are going on and how best they can guard themselves against them. We carry out sensitization in many forms like media platforms, formal arrangements by different authorities and leaders at all levels, among others.

Monitoring

We have a monitoring plan for our participants at all levels but especially when we have officially sent them off to start their businesses. We check on them regularly to see how they are progressing.

Skills Training and Start up Capital

When we are sure that our participants are feeling better and are back to shape, we offer them training in various things although mostly to do with small scale businesses. Some trainings are general like in areas of working SMART, book keeping, saving, investment, among others while others are tailor-made to what the participants normally want to engage in like for example, tailoring and designing, cosmetology and salon management, catering, among others.
For the young ones who have survived child sacrifice, we take them back to school and they continue with their studies.

When our participants are through with the skills training, we help them start small-scale businesses in order to be able to start earning a living and sustain themselves.

Legal Affairs

Since our victims have people who We help our participants get justice from the courts of law. We have lawyers that work on these cases.

Child Basic Education Programs

The Children’s education program that is being initiated. This is because it was discovered through the baseline survey carried out in some of our project areas that the education situation is alarming and needs immediate attention to save the young generation of this country.

Our focus is directed to recruiting all children in school to enjoy their right to education to its fullness. Together with the support of stake-holders in the communities, we strive to have an informed young generation that sustainably value their lives, families and the whole environment as they grow. We hope to reach the capacity of 75% of the population of children not attending school doing so, by the end of the project cycle.

Goal: Children attending pre-primary and primary school education multiplied.

Objectives

  • Change in attitude towards education in the area
  • Increase knowledge and skills base among children
  • Combat early marriages

Expected Outcomes

  • Increased number of children enrolled in pre-primary and primary schools.
  • Reduced child labor in communities
  • Increase number of girls attaining education
  • Reduced number of school drop-outs
